St. Michael and All Angels Church

Our Church

Our church, dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels, was consecrated on 29 September 1853 and is one of the Bro Famau Group of Churches.  These also include the parishes of Cilcain, Gwernaffield, Llanferres, and Rhydymwyn.  The current church, built between 1852- 53 is the third to be built on this site and was designed by Thomas H. Wyatt from London who also was responsible for the nearby churches of Brynford and Gorsedd.

Services are open to everyone and are held in the church at the times shown below with ‘Fifth Sunday’ services rotate around churches in the Bro Famau group of churches.  The church is generally open during the hours of daylight.

A communal area has been formed within the body of the church which allows more flexible use. It is an area in which reflection, services, village meetings and coffee mornings/afternoons take place.
St. Michael’s is one of the group of parishes which are are the responsibility of Revd. Adrian Copping who is also the Area Dean. He can be contacted on 01352 810936
