Nannerch School

We are a small school within the heart of the village, We serve children and families both from the village and surrounding areas. Originally built in 1895 to serve the local community, today Ysgol Nannerch is a Voluntary Aided Primary School which recognises the importance of working in partnership with children, parents and the community.

Our school motto is ‘Learning Together, Reaching Higher’. We welcome children, their parents and their families into our friendly, happy and hard-working environment, where respect for others and positive attitudes towards work and behaviour are encouraged and nurtured.

The school, provides an education for children between the ages of 3 to 11 years. At present there are 70 pupils including Nursery on the school role.  The current admissions number is 15.  The school’s capacity is recorded as 111.   The School has created strong links with the village playgroup and the two settings provide a shared Lunch Club twice a week.  We provide Breakfast and After School provision and run a Holiday Club.  The Classroom Assistants and rest of the staff make a valuable contribution to the School and work in a variety of different roles within the school.
